What is a "Live Radio Play?"
As with our production of Miracle on 34th Street last year, this show written by nationally acclaimed playwright Joe Landry, is a classic Christmas story told in the setting of a 1950s radio station putting on a live broadcast of the show.
That means that in addition to the story of George Bailey and Clarence the angel that you love, you'll also get an original radio jingle composition, classic radio ads, live Foley sound effects, and the experience of being dropped into the audience of a '50s radio broadcast.
Never fear - you'll also get all the classic Wonderful Life lines spanning from Uncle Billy losing George's money, to Mr. Potter's scheming, to Zuzu's declaration about the ringing of a bell. In fact, this script is so well loved that Ewan McGregor will be starring in a production of it in California this holiday season.
